Taking Over - need help

Posted by Natalie Morris at September 20. 2007

Hi, I am taking over an existing site. I think they are using this product... I can see

qPloneDropDownMenu (Installed product qPloneDropDownMenu (0.1.6))  in the products menu. They have dropdown menus in there site http://www.summitmotorsportspark.com/. The problem is they are totally out of date. How can I update them? This should be really basic but I am at a loss as to where I should be, in the ZMI, Plone Admin?? I manually updated the
imenus0.js  file, which is what is controling the menus...

I should probably also mention that I am kinda new to Plone so please use small words and speak slowely :)

Thanks so much!

Natalie

Oh yeah I have CMFPlone (Installed product CMFPlone (2.5.2)) and
(Zope 2.9.7-final, python 2.4.4, linux2)

Hi!

To update Dropdown menu generated by qPloneDropDownMenu product you have to go to 'site setup' (link at the right top corner of plone site appear if logged in as manager, or enter in path bar http://your.site.url/plone_control_panel), and then click on qPloneDropDownMenu link in 'Add-on Product Configuration' section. In appeared textarea you can edit your dropdown menu as html code. Then save.

Good luck!
